Grandmaster Eric San Jose Selected for Induction into the Official Taekwondo Hall of Fame®

We are proud to share that Grandmaster Eric San Jose has been officially invited to be inducted into the Official Taekwondo Hall of Fame® -- the highest honor one can achieve in the martial art and Olympic sport of Taekwondo.
The induction ceremony will take place on Saturday, August 15, 2026, at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Jersey City, New Jersey. Grandmaster San Jose was nominated in recognition of his extraordinary Taekwondo background and his significant contributions to the art.
This is a tremendous achievement and a proud moment for our entire school family. We look forward to celebrating with Grandmaster San Jose at this historic event.

The Eric San Jose Martial Arts school is celebrating two outstanding achievements. On April 19, 2026, Alyssa Filipe and Kimberly Meloni both stepped onto the floor at the T. Kang Taekwondo black belt test and delivered performances that made the entire school proud.
Earning a 3rd Dan Black Belt, Level 3 is no small feat. It demands not just physical skill, but mental strength, consistency, and a deep commitment to the art. Alyssa and Kimberly embodied all of that and more, proving that their years of training have built something lasting.
We congratulate both of them on this well-earned rank and look forward to seeing everything they continue to accomplish. This is their moment -- celebrate it with them.

We are thrilled to share some exciting news from the Eric San Jose Martial Arts community. Two of our dedicated students, Jason Jiho Kim and Kimberly Meloni, successfully completed the rigorous T. Kang Taekwondo black belt test. Through months of preparation, unwavering focus, and an unyielding commitment to excellence, they rose to the challenge and demonstrated the true spirit of martial arts.
Jason was promoted to the distinguished rank of 4th Dan Black Belt, a milestone that reflects not only technical mastery but years of leadership and perseverance. Kimberly earned her 3rd Dan Black Belt, Level 2, showcasing remarkable growth, discipline, and passion for the art.
Their accomplishments are a source of great pride for our entire school. Please join us in congratulating Jason and Kimberly on this incredible achievement.
