Welcome to Eric San José Martial Arts. My message is simple: this is not a commercial martial arts school. When you enroll here, you will be personally taught by me. I customize every workout to fit your unique needs and goals. Whether you’re looking to train in traditional martial arts, kickboxing, self-defense, competition, or simply get into shape, I will personally work with you to help you achieve those goals. Whether in a one-on-one session or a group setting, you will always have me as your teacher and trainer. How many schools can say that?

My students come from all walks of life—4-year-olds, pre-teens, teenagers, young adults, homemakers, business owners, and professional athletes. I believe that anyone with the desire to learn can be trained. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working with members of the Nassau and Suffolk County Police Departments, NYS Troopers, and FBI Special Agents. Many of my students have achieved success in competition, winning regional and national Sport Karate titles in forms and point fighting. Others, including teens and adults, have participated in kickboxing events.

I’ve also had the honor of training high-level martial artists like NASKA Super Competitor Sammy Smith, who has claimed every major tournament title in the U.S. and many international titles, and successful martial arts school owners who come to me for private lessons to enhance their skills.
